Treasure Proposal

If you are into snorkeling, or scuba diving, or perhaps have never even tried it but expect you could relatively easily convince your special someone that it is a good idea to try it together for the first time, then you will likely want to explore this very fun marriage proposal idea. Imagine the two of you snorkeling along and you just happen to see something shiny in the water below. You can either hold the ring conveniently in your palm and act as though you have just discovered it and picked it up from the sand or reef below, or you can just surface and tell her you saw something and will be right back after you dive down to “take a closer look”. You both take a look at the shiny object you have discovered below, this treasure from the depths of the sea, and surprisingly enough it looks like an engagement ring! Wow, imagine that! What to do now? Perhaps you should slip it on her ring finger and see if it fits. Oh, what a coincidence! This is now where your proposal begins. You may want to wait until you get back to the beach or onto your boat to show her what you “found” as it certainly makes it easier to avoid dropping the ring into the water by accident. It also likely makes it easier to handle all of the proposal presentation much more easily. At some point you will obviously want to tell her that you actually brought the ring with you and planned the whole thing. Otherwise she may be concerned about finding just whom the ring belonged to prior to it being found by you and returning it to this non-existent person.

Secret Admirer Delivery

Here is a really fun surprising way to propose to her in a way that she will likely never expect and also likely never forget. The two of you are cuddling up for a nice romantic evening together when there is a ring of the doorbell or a knock at the door. She or you both go to the door to see who it is. Wow, it’s a delivery person with a bouquet and a small package addressed to your girlfriend from a “Secret Admirer”! The type of delivery person you choose gives you lots of room for creativity. A singing delivery person or a costumed delivery person, or even a singing costumed delivery person could present her the present from this supposed “Secret Admirer”. Obviously you are the person who sent the package, but you act surprised and say something like “I had no idea you had a secret admirer!”. Say it in more of a mildly teasing way rather than in an accusing manner and she will be in much more of a pleasant mood for your proposal. Bring the package inside and open it together to see just what this admirer as sent her. Have a revealing surprise inside the ring box so that when she opens it and sees the ring she sees something like a photo of you and her cut into the shape of a heart on the inside of the lid. She sees it and realizes what is happening and you get down on one knee. The rest is pure magic.
